Account Suspension
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time without prior notice
- This includes the right to forfeit any coin balance
- Reasons may include: policy violations, fraudulent activity, spam, or suspicious behavior
Scammer List
- We maintain a public list of users flagged for fraudulent activity
- If found engaging in scams, your name may be added to this list
- This serves to protect our community from bad actors
For Students
Job Posting Guidelines
- You cannot share contact details in job postings
- Accounts that share contact information are automatically banned
- This protects both students and teachers from spam and fraud
Verifying Tutors
- It is your responsibility to verify tutor credentials, identity, and qualifications
- Conduct background checks if necessary
- Meet in public places for initial in-person sessions
- Read reviews and ratings carefully
Payment Responsibility
- You are responsible for all monetary transactions and refunds
- We are not liable for fraudulent activity by tutors
- Always use our secure payment system for protection
- Read our Refund Policy before making payments
Phone Verification
- We may call your provided phone number to confirm your requirements
- We will never spam you with promotional calls
- Phone verification helps prevent fake accounts
Closing Job Posts
- Please close your job post once you've found a suitable tutor
- This prevents unnecessary contact from additional tutors
- You can close posts from your dashboard
For Teachers/Tutors
Student Vetting
- We do not vet students for credit history or payment records
- It is your responsibility to verify student credibility
- Discuss and agree on payment terms before starting lessons
Contact Information Policy
- Your profile will be permanently banned if you share contact details in initial messages
- Only share contact information after a student specifically requests it
- This policy protects against spam and maintains platform integrity
Profile Accuracy
- Ensure all information in your profile is accurate and up-to-date
- Misrepresentation of qualifications can result in account termination
- Upload legitimate credentials and certificates
Phone Verification
- We may call your provided phone number regarding your account
- We will never spam you with promotional calls
- Keep your contact information current
Professional Conduct
- Maintain professional behavior in all interactions
- Respond to student inquiries promptly
- Honor your commitments and agreed-upon schedules
Payment Terms
Platform Fees
- We charge a service fee on transactions (see Refund Policy)
- Fees are clearly displayed before transaction confirmation
- Fees support platform maintenance and development
Direct Payments
- Payments made outside the platform are not protected
- We cannot assist with refund disputes for external payments
- Always use our secure payment system
Coin System
- Coins are used to contact students or access premium features
- Coins are non-refundable once purchased (see exceptions in Refund Policy)
- Unused coins do not expire but have no cash value
Content Guidelines
User-Generated Content
- You are responsible for all content you post
- Content must not be offensive, fraudulent, or spam
- We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content
Intellectual Property
