I generally teach by making the student work through problems after giving them an overview of the basic concept and help them for the first few problems if they do find it difficult. I generally do not give homework or assign only minimal homework that the student should be able to do in 30 mins to 1 hour and teach 1-4 students in 1-2 hour sessions each. I teach students of all classes from all educational boards. As I teach in the way mentioned above, students get ample opportunities to learn through the experience of making varied mistakes while solving problems, meaning that they have a better conceptual foundation.
