I am a fully qualified teacher of Applied Science with a BSc in Zoology from a Russell Group University. I was born and raised in the North West of England and have many years’ experience teaching Science subjects from KS2 to KS5 and beyond. I have worked in a wide range of contexts, including inner city secondary schools, an FE college and University Centre plus private tuition both in-home and online.Prior to studying my PGCE teaching qualification I worked in industry, specifically as a zookeeper. I am also a Senior Assessment Associate with roles including Principal Moderator, Senior/Expert Examiner, Reviser, Reviewer and Moderator for a range of exam boards (Pearson, OCR, City & Guilds, NCFE). This gives me great insight into exam preparation and assessment methods which are a key feature of my lessons.My lessons are fun, engaging and tailored to the individual needs of my students.
