I have been teaching physics and math for the past three years. I am a teacher by choice rather than a teacher due to necessity. I teach with the intent that there is a story that needs to be told. That story may include numbers and equations, yet it is a story. I intend to make the lecture tangible by including experiments, objects, images, videos, and sometimes experiences. Studying Physics and Maths through a pure science course helps me align my knowledge to my current academic path. Having done the majority of the experiments in their book gives me a clear idea of where to teach slowly and where to teach differently. Efficiency in today's time is a necessity. The kids are into many activities and making sure they study compactly but impactfully is partially my responsibility. My favorite part of teaching is after the lecture when the assignments are prepared for the following lectures, it allows me to format questions according to the student's interests and desires.I have taught IGCSE for the past 2 years, IBDP and IBMYP for the past 1 year and ICSE for the 3 years. Being in my 20s, I can very well relate to all the relevant references, memes, humor, taught, issues, and ideas of the students. Sharing my experiences with them for entertainment can help me impart the necessary lessons, breaks, or concepts, all these experiences are felt relatable due to their relevancy.
