. I have a Bachelor’s degree in science (BSc.) from Egerton University (Math/Physics-Major), a holder of Post Graduate Diploma in Scientific Computing (PGDSC) from The University of Dar Es Salaam and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Kenyatta University. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at Kenyatta University. I am a registered teacher in Kenya by the Teachers Service Commission; I have been teaching in formal schools for over ten years in both Math and Physics at secondary school level in various curriculums. I have taught the Kenyan curriculum (KCSE), Tanzania education system (NECTA) and the British National Curriculum (IGCSE and GCE). In all these cases, I have produced good results in all these cases. My teaching methodology is the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) using the 5Es Model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate). I make use of worksheets and assessments in the course of learning to ascertain the learner understanding. I also employ reinforcement techniques where the learner has challenges. In physics experiments, I conduct the practical with the learner at his/her convenience since the physics practical and apparatus can be easily carried around.
