As a teacher, I find it exciting to teach mathematics because it is result and logic-driven. Most children are often anxious about learning any mathematical topic. I try to make it as logical as possible by presenting examples from real- life. Kids are almost always restless and show no patience to read the questions which is important in order to get the numbers right. It is my consistent effort to make them see through the questions clearly, understand them, get the data right and calculate with minimal error. I understand what the child goes through while solving problems, listen to what their thoughts and their doubts are. I make it a point to clear their doubts no matter how silly they may sound. I also entertain kids who tend to forget topics from the previous grades which a common trend and ensure them to ask me questions freely without hesitation. The more children ask me questions, it is always helpful as it means that children are interested to learn. Patient listening is one of the virtues I possess as a teacher.
