I aim to teach students to understand concepts rather than learn by rote. - Qualified teacher and examiner. - Many students go onto medicine, vetmed and dentistry. - Prepare students for 13+, 11+ and scholarships: Westminster, Habs, QE Boys, Latymer, St Albans, Oundle, Bedford Modern and Kimbolton: for students outside the UK and UK based.During lesson we look at exam questions and examiners reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials.Having dyslexia myself means I can help dyslexic students learn techniques to help them with both revision and accessing information on the exam papers.I`m a qualified teacher and examiner with 22 years experience. Until recently I was working part time in a school in Hertfordshire teaching A level biology. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel as an examiner and moderator.
