Dr. Prince Ahad Mir is an assistant professor of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in the Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Amritsar, Punjab. Dr. Mir has earned his M. Pharm and later completed a Ph.D. focused on Pharmacognostic standardization, phytochemical investigation, and bioactivity of medicinal plants from the University of Kashmir. Dr. Prince Ahad Mir is working as an Assistant Professor in department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmacognosy at Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Amritsar since September 2021. Prior to working at KCP, he was working as an Assistant Professor at Amritsar Pharmacy College, GT Road Manawal Amritsar. Dr. Prince Ahad Mir has received his Ph.D. from University of Kashmir in 2018, master degree in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in 2012 and bachelors in pharmacy (B. Pharm) in 2010 from Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. He is an approved assistant professor (UG & PG) in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry.His teaching interest include Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Herbal Drug Technology, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Biology. Dr. Mir has guided both M. Pharm and B. Pharm students during his tenure. His research emphasizes natural products and their applications in pharmacology and oncology, Dr. Mir has published more than 45 peer-reviewed publications and several high-impact reviews and book chapters. He has also presented papers in various national and international conferences. Dr Mir has also conducted programs on personality development, communication skills and soft skills development.
