The philosophy of my teaching and learning style is more a mixture of both student-centred and teacher-centred. I believe that students learn best when they are working in groups. The student-centred teaching approach puts responsibility on both the student and the teacher. I would have centre activities to facilitate student learning. I typically structure each class to include some amount of each teaching style. However, I used more of the directing style during the first part of the semester. In the middle part of a semester, I typically rely more on the discussion style. And in the latter part of the semester, I generally lean more heavily on the delegating style.Using an appropriate mix of teaching styles helps students learn, grow, and become more independent. Too much reliance on one style causes students to lose interest and become overly dependent on the teacher.I have curated three teaching styles which are listed down below :Direct — Tell students what to doDiscuss — Ask questions and listenDelegate — Empower students
